The SEVEN SWORDSMITHS is a project about the legendary swordsmiths and the legacy of those swords in East Asia. During the reign of king Wu Ding(Tang Dynasty), these legendary swordsmiths were part of a secret society of sword makers that were commissioned by kind Wu Ding to create the most beautiful, rare, and deadly swords in all of China. Later, as tales spread of the craftsmanship of the blades, they were commissioned by Emperor Jimmu, and later Emperor Sujin. During several dynasties in Korea, use of these weapons were also employed. The following is a retelling of the fates of those blades and their owners.
